In the past, many labelled the medicine of longevity as a fiction. Over the years, however, it has become an incontestable scientific reality. Today, the experts know much more about the processes of degeneration and about individual vulnerability to disease, about individual rhythms, and about the personalisation of the phenomenon of aging in all its complexity.

In the last ten years, the dynamic of medical research in the area of prevention has contributed to a rapid development of the medicine of longevity and to  the accumulation of scientific data vital for knowledge of brain aging, the elaboration of innovative therapeutic interventions and increased quality of life for the elderly.

Benefi ting from technological progress, the medicine of longevity has developed high-performance methods for the early detection, prevention and treatment of illnesses associated with aging. The holistic medical concept of the Ana Aslan International Academy of Aging is based on a cutting-edge, integrative and personalised medical approach, capable of leading to high-performance assessment and monitoring of the patient.
