The Ana Aslan International Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation which operates in conformity with the provisions of Government Ordinance no. 26/2000 with regard to Associations and Foundations, Govt. Ordinance no. 37/30.01.2003, and Ordinance no. 124/1998 (modified by Law no. 629/2001), as well as with Article 23, paragraph (2) of the Ministry of Health Methodological Norms of 26.02.2003 for the Organisation and Operations of Medical Centres.

Likewise, the Foundation operates in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 487/2002 for Mental Health and Protection of Persons with Mental Disturbances and Law no. 677/2001 for the Protection of Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and the Free Circulation of such Data.

The structures created under the auspices of the Ana Aslan International Academy of Aging with a view to fulfilment of the goals it has set itself abide by the documents and recommendations of the World Health Organisation, the European Union, and international and European consortiums in the field of anti-aging medicine, longevity and the prevention of cerebral pathology in old age.
