• Contributions to the outlining of a European standard sustained by IT and Communications (ITC) in the field of medical assistance for all citizens of an enlarged Europe
• Development of new guides in the system of medical care for assistance of patients using special medical equipment and personalised ITC devices
• Research into establishing specific tools to evaluate health at the individual level or that of pathological states, which would enable the outlining of a specific prevention or treatment strategy
• Combination of the process of classic medical care with solutions supplied by ITC to implement and validate models of intelligent homecare for dependent elderly people (medical expertise in evaluating the patient’s state of health and level of dependence, as well as development of adequate deontologies for the actors involved: patients, medical and non-medical staff, medical and social units)
• Methodological guidance with regard to medico-social services and implementation of the results obtained within the framework of the medical care system (clinical evaluations, laboratory analyses, medical advice)
• Generation, collection, processing and dissemination of information and data regarding medical care, to be utilised by the Romanian authorities, specialists and third parties with an interest in the field of health care, in conformity with current legislation
• A system of health care that is of the highest standards, dedicated to elderly persons with comorbid conditions and/or illnesses, cognitive and/or physical impairment, or loss of functionality due to multiple disabilities, as well as to those who present deficient self-dependency
• Collection of economic information and information regarding cost efficiency in the field of medical care for elderly patients with comorbid states and/or illnesses, cognitive and/or physical impairment, functional loss due to multiple disabilities, or deficient self-dependency
• Organisation of workshops and press conferences, as well as publication of the works presented at these events, dedicated to the dissemination of projects
• Involvement in aspects of medical training and education, in the organisation of conferences for those who care for the elderly or dependents
• Exchange of information and sharing of experience acquired in assessment of the medical care system, as well as in the establishment and technical and scientific revision of criteria and guidelines
• Identification of adequate resources for interventions in patient medical care, in close collaboration with other actors involved in this field
• Development of studies and informational materials to disseminate projects and their results, for communication at scientific events as well as publication in specialist reviews
• Assimilation and adaption of European expertise for implementation in Romania
• Dissemination of know-how gained during projects, replication and application of results obtained
